SIWILAI CITY CLUB introduces its next Kitchen Takeover Collaboration, staying true to our desire for creating unique culinary experiences for everyone to enjoy. For this Takeover, SIWILAI CITY CLUB welcomes the talented Thai food chef from the U.S., Andy Ricker, who is the owner of Pok Pok Restaurants, a two-time James Beard Award winner for Best Chef, a best-selling cookbook author and Michelin star holder for Pok Pok NY in 2015.
‘S.C-C Kitchen Takeover Featuring Andy Ricker (Pok Pok Restaurants)’ offers a chance to enjoy the special flavours of Pok Pok’s greatest hits and lesser-known Thai dishes, served in the traditional family-style setting, with fresh ingredients direct from Chiang Mai. This one-night special is definitely not to be missed on Thursday, 4th July, 2019 from 6pm onwards.
For this Kitchen Takeover, Andy’s menu is inspired by the Thai dining style, having a meal together with shared plates and creating a sense of community which he himself experienced in his early adventures into the Thai food culture. He has gathered local ingredients from Northern Thailand for this menu, allowing diners to experience a truly local and authentic dining experience, which perfectly blends with the venue’s relaxing atmosphere and live music. His curated special menu will also be available at SIWILAI CITY CLUB until 30th September 2019 in addition to exclusive merchandise and signed copies of his award-winning cookbooks.
