Vault by Vans and Japanese label, Wacko Maria, join forces for a footwear collaboration that expresses their shared passion for music. This special drop features a new rendition of the OG Slip-On LX decked in a motif of vinyl records. Wacko Maria’s founder, Atsuhiko Mori, describes the inspiration behind this collaboration to be the “colors of record labels in the ’60s and ’70s”. As for the origin of the collaboration’s design, Mori states that this original pattern came about 10 years ago after a second-hand t-shirt the brand had printed with vinyl records all over.
